IMPORTANT! To pass a failed class or to be promoted, students MUST participate in the Launch into Learning program.
MPS will provide transportation for all students.
All students receive breakfast and lunch. Snacks for K-5!

Kindergarten Academy RegistrationYes! MPS has created a summer learning program that will allow students to complete unfinished learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Every student has experienced some sort of learning gap and this is a great program to prepare for the upcoming year.
MPS will host its summer learning program Monday-Thursday from 8 am – 1 pm. Students that participate from 8 am- 1 pm will be able to stay for enrichment activities offered from 1 pm - 3 pm.
MPS will start registration on April 15, 2021 and registration will close on June 1, 2021.
Yes! All students will have the opportunity to receive breakfast that will start at 7:30 am and lunch. K-5 students will also receive a snack.
Yes! MPS will offer transportation for the summer learning program.
Locations are being determined based on student participation. It is the goal of MPS to host Launch into Learning at the majority of our schools' campuses.
Absolutely! The goal of Launch into Learning is to provide all MPS students an opportunity to reengage learning concepts from the prior year, be introduced to the next grade level’s learning standards, and participate in innovative learning activities.
Yes. All children that received a failing grade or retention letter for the 2020-2021 academic year must participate in Launch into Learning to receive a passing grade or an opportunity for promotion.
Absolutely! All CDC guidelines for COVID-19 will be followed and masks are required. MPS encourages parents to remind students of mask requirements and proper hygiene regiments.
